Q: What is the shelf life?

A: This product has an 18-month shelf life.

Q: Is this product safe for my kids, pets, animals or livestock to be around? Even if animals eat the grass?

Q: I purchased a sprayer quart. Do I have to use all of the product at once?

A: You have to use it all at once. The bacteria will activate and they will start to "bloom." This will produce A LOT of methane in the container, and it will swell and burst. The great thing is that you cannot over apply it. The more concentrated the better!

Q: Should I use Ultimate Tea with other products?

A: Ultimate Tea boosts conventional programs or fertilizers. While Ultimate Tea stands alone as a product, it can be used along with FertALive for optimum fertilization results.

Commercial Crop Growers

Apply Ultimate Tea in the summer as a foliar spray. Depending on where you are, this could be in June or when temperatures get to around 80°.

Always dilute Ultimate Tea. We recommend a 1:20 product to water ratio. Be sure to use all of the diluted mixture within 24 hours.

Apply ½ to 1 ½ diluted gallons of Ultimate Tea per acre of field crops, covering the entire plant as a foliar feed or root drench. Repeat this every 28 days throughout the growing season for a total of 3 applications.

Homeowners

Apply Ultimate Tea in the summer. Depending on where you are, this could be in June or when temperatures get to around 80°.

Add 6–8 ounces of Ultimate Tea per gallon of water. Be sure to use all of the diluted mixture within 24 hours.

Apply ½ to 1 ½ diluted gallons of Ultimate Tea per acre. Repeat this every 28 days throughout the growing season for a total of 3 applications.

1 gallon of Ultimate Tea will make approximately 20 gallons of finished product.

If you're using the Southland Organics sprayer quart:

Insert the straw into the black sprayer nozzle. Attach the nozzle to the sprayer quart bottle of Ultimate Tea. Attach your hose to the sprayer nozzle, and turn on your water. Turn the dial on the sprayer nozzle to "mix," and the sprayer will automatically dilute the product to the proper ratio. Spray in even strokes. A full quart should take about 3 minutes and cover approximately 1,000 square feet.

Using Your Own Sprayer Instructions

If you're using your own sprayer:

Assemble your sprayer as directed by the manufacturer. Pour Ultimate Tea into the reservoir. Turn the dilution dial to one ounce or two tablespoons (depending on which unit is used on your sprayer). Spray in even strokes. A full quart of product will cover approximately 1,000 square feet.
