Kadsura coccinea
Also known as: Fruit Of The Immortals

Here is a rare, exotic, multi-purpose evergreen climbing fruit vine we imported right from its native region in Asia. It offers a wide range of cold hardy adaptability and should be successful through many areas of the United States and the rest of the world. It has relatively the same growing range as large kiwi fruit or even cool season fruits that like long growing seasons.

Fruit has a high edibility rating that is often used raw or even cooked. They are astounding in size and look like a giant raspberry or blackberry, with fruits as large as 3 to even 6 inches in diameter, weighing from half a pound to even 2 pounds each. They do have high nutritional and medicinal value. This woody perennial has beautiful small 1" rose/white colored flowers and are usually produced on the current yearโ€™s growth that look similar to plants in the magnolia family.

It does have a strong resistance to disease and most pests. Produce the fastest growth in soils with moderate fertility, well-drained with neutral to acid soil. It does excellent in semi-shade even deep shade, but can tolerate some full sun. When growing in an open position it is recommended to set a pole or build a frame or arbor like when growing grapes or kiwi. Said to be frost hardy in USDA zone 7.

This offer is for 5 seeds.
